Nominated by her peers and recognized by the Latino Chamber of Commerce, Sarah was one of several young adults to win the first ever 40 Under 40 awards for her community service and leadership in the Pueblo Community.
In the spring of 2019, the Latino Chamber of Commerce hosted their inaugural 40 Under 40 Awards to recognize and celebrate young adult leaders in the community. Leaders had to be nominated by residents of Pueblo County and were awarded based off of demonstrating a strong commitment to improving their chosen field and the Pueblo community.
These award winners have brought honor to the local community and are viewed as an up and coming leaders, they have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in their field of work or study, or they have earned other awards, honors or accreditations.
Sarah's leadership skills have been recognized by many community leaders and, as a City Council member, she will do a fantastic job in leading and representing her district to a brighter future.
